Make Music and Create an Opera for the Very Young

What does morning sound like to you?

How do the bristles of a toothbrush sound against your teeth?

Do you hear the sizzling of the frying pan?

Who does the sun say good morning to?

Why do the morning doves whistle as they fly?

From sun up to sun down, music fills our days. What do you hear?

Join us for a creative music, movement, and arts workshop to develop Kerfuffle’s brand new interactive Opera for the Very Young. Through sensory play, creative drama and movement, and songs, participants will explore the sounds and music of a day. Workshop participants will help form ideas, characters and sound design for the environment of the opera, which will perform in Chicago in 2026 with professional musicians!
